I finished the blue and white crown of thorns quilt top yesterday. I forgot to take a picture before I folded it up. I am going to mark it and baste it before I put it away in the queue.
While I was sewing I decided to do this little quilt along on Cheri's blog using Blackbird Designs fabrics instead of the usual reproduction fabrics. I mostly used fabric from the Meadows line. It measures 20" X 25 1/2" . I think I'll bind it in the blue. When I was tired of sewing just blue and white on the other top, I sewed a few four patches for this little quilt. And then just progressed along.
It sure has a different look to Cheri's version.
It was just a little dessert after the main course.

I like your idea of dessert. Very cute. I have mine to the point of making the setting squares. I can't decide on a fabric. The beauty of these SALs is the variety--even though we all use the same instructions.
Your little quilt is so sweet. : )
It is a lovely little quilt!
