Today we are celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary.
In the last 40 years I have gained
some insight into the thinking of a man,
seven children,
and a few pounds.
But mostly I have gained the pleasure that comes with sharing and serving and being loved.
The gemstone for the 40th anniversary is Ruby.
So I was surprised with these ruby and diamond earrings this morning.
I think I'll keep him.
