Isn't this barn block great?  We went to Gresham Wisconsin on Wednesday and the block is found right in the middle of town. So appropriate for this time of year, don't you think?

It has been such a joy being on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints here in Wisconsin.  One of the pleasures is to find these blocks unexpectedly around a turn or hidden in a niche of the forest and corn fields.

I went to a quilt store on our P-day yesterday.  It is the "Ye Olde Schoolhouse Quilt shop in Cedarburg Wisconsin.  What a treasure.  There are cottons and wools, patterns, books but the best part for me was the staff.  I'm not usually someone who converses much with people I don't know but the ladies at this store are my friends.  They are so warm and interested in what you have to say or what project you are working on.
