Happy Hallowe'en

Just a quick note to wish you all a Happy Halloween and repeat my love for this season of the year.

The sun continues to change it's angle and by so doing I can see my maple tree reflected on my garage side window from the inside of my house.

If I open the front door, which is just to the right of this round window and look out to see the reflection. . . it isn't there.

Autumn is such a magic time of year.

Have fun tonight whether you have a gathering to go to or you are repeatedly answering your front door.

I love watching the changes created by the sun's angle, too. That's a great photograph of your round window with the wreath and the reflection of the tree. It's a great idea to put a wreath there.
Happy Autumn to you!

Love your round window! Our side of town hosts a massive Halloween the Saturday prior, so last night was completely quiet. We don't participate in any of it, been there, done that, old folks. :D

I love Fall (but I didn't love waking up to snow on the ground this morning. It didn't completely melt through the day, either). It is cozy and golden, and invites us back indoors to gather with friends and family.
Hardly any trick-or-treaters come to our house. Parents have to drive their kids from house to house out here, so most of them just do the community trunk-or-treat at the church parking lot. We usually spend the evening with our daughter's family in a community a few miles away, where the doorbell doesn't stop ringing until after 9:00 p.m.
Such cute little mice. I used to collect mice figurines. Those are adorable.

Mailing cookies, sled from the 70's, Memory tree, and a belt.

I was trying to find a recipe for gingerbread boys in my grandmother's old Betty Crocker cook book from the late 40's early 50's...
