I finished the Wisconsin quilt top. That border is just so lovely. It is from a line called "Riverbanks" by Jeanne Horton. I have about 1 1/2 yds. left so I can use it in some future project too. The center unit, bumblebee, and post mark fabric are from Jeanne Horton's Wisconsin line from 2014. The golden fabric that the applique is on is a Kim Diehl fabric.
We had snow yesterday. It was big heavy wet flakes but it didn't pile up. It melted by sunset. It cleaned the air and made everything sparkle.
I put on Christmas music this morning. Tis the season. . .

(I keep hearing big booms. Camp Williams is having it's howitzer shooting practice.)

Beautiful finish, Robin!! And lucky you--SNOW;))) I am hoping for some this year--we only got a few flakes last year...hugs, Julierose
We had a few flakes here yesterday but thankfully no accumulation. Lovely quilt top! My daughter just sent photos of her house all decked out with lights and her tree is already up. We might get around to a bit of decorating after Thanksgiving.
Fabulous finish! I don't want to see snow for awhile yet!
It's gorgeous!! That border is incredible. I'm jealous of the snow. :D --Hugs, Linda at Texas Quilt Gal
This just looks fantastic! The fabrics all work so very well together and the slightly prim vibe is great.:) Glad we haven't had snow yet this year but it's getting closer every year. Just not ready for it at all!
It is gorgeous, Robin! Is it a mission commemoration quilt? I love that you have appliqued part of the "14th Article of Faith" from the Wentworth Letter. Excellent work!
Oh, this is just gorgeous!!
That quilt is extraordinary! Well done you!
Oh, yes, that border is lovely, Robin. The whole quilt just sings with history! Beautifully done.
Have you had more snow? We had a few flakes the other day but no accumulation and no more since then.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
