Two Weeks under the tree was his record.

Well, it didn't exactly turn out like I could see in my minds eye. . .

And it had a few make-overs as well a drastic designer revision.

(Imagine me whispering)  "I won't tell you or show you the mistakes."

THE CHRISTMAS QUILT TOP FOR #3 SON IS COMPLETED~

Love the way you simplified the center so the applique design could shine, but still incorporated the stars as the border. A very fun holiday finish!

Oh, it’s great! I like the nine patch surround a lot! The stars with different colors really pop.

I don't see any obvious "oops!". Good for you on not pointing them out. If those candy canes are covering a wee bit of fabric shortage, you came up with a good fix. The quilt might not be what you saw in your mind when you started it, but it had to become what it wanted to be. There be woe in trying to force it into being anything else.

WooHoo! on the finish.

I can't imagine a better finish for this quilt, Robin! I love how the stars incorporate all the colors in the center applique and the 9-patch blocks let the focus be on the center block. What a great finish!
