Ravens quilt top is done

This is Block #4 that I just finished Monday.  I added the little bird so there would be 12 blackbirds on the quilt or as my DIL says; "A Murder of Crows."

I finished this one last week.  It is Block # 7. It is one of my favorites.   I love the big full moon.  And the flower in the upper right matches the border.

And here is the top completed.  It is a delightful quilt, such a fun design by Blackbird Designs.  And another "someday" quilt off of my bucket list.

I'm considering taking December off from quilting and just enjoy the baking and candy making and family.  I wonder how long I can stay out of the sewing room.  .  .  .

I've got company coming tomorrow so I need to motivate myself to clean and make a dessert.

What a beautiful quilt finish, Robin!! You did a lovely job on these blocks..
I am going to take it easier during this Holiday Season too; and try to figure out what I really want to [and am capable of] be making. Hugs, Julierose

I love everything about this quilt, and think the full moon block is my new favorite! Enjoy your Thanksgiving prep and whatever you decide for December, let it be fun and stress-free. Happy Holidays to you and yours.

It turned out beautiful! And you're right with that border, it's perfect and pulls in those golds and lavenders. Congratulations!! I, too, love my quilt and am napping with it lately. Taking time off for baking and candy making is what's happening here, too. The freezer is filling up and so is the calendar.

Wonderful quilt! It's on my bucket list also -- along with several other Blackbird Designs. Enjoy your holiday season!

It's a beautiful quilt top, love the rich colors and perfect for the season. You'll have to let us know if you made it all through December without quilting, lol.

Robin, you must be so pleased with this quilt. It is gorgeous! Your fabric choices enhance the images so well. Block 7 with the full moon is one of my favorite, too. Don't you love those collective names for animals? A murder of crows! Ha.
I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy December, too. December is a great time to take a break from quilting. There are so many other things to do and enjoy!

Oh, this is just beautiful. I like the individual blocks and then together they make a really striking quilt. Enjoy December and the holidays, quilting or no quilting.
